ERA

delete your account

ERA, published by ERA The Method LLC. Last updated 1 October 2026.

You can delete your ERA account at any time, and you do not need anyone's help to do it. There are two ways.

In the app

  1. Open ERA and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account closes immediately and you are signed out.

By email

If you no longer have the app, email contact@erathemethod.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm when it is done.

You have 30 days to change your mind

For 30 days after you delete your account, signing in again restores it, along with your practice history, favorites and downloads. After 30 days the account cannot be recovered.

What is deleted

After 30 days we delete or de-identify:

  • Your name, email address, password and profile photo
  • Anything you told us about your health or your practice goals
  • Your practice history, streaks, favorites and downloads
  • Your comments, and your reviews and messages to us

What we keep

We keep only what we must: records we need for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention or dispute purposes, and information that no longer identifies you, such as counts of how many people completed a class.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, your subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it there. Cancel it in your device's App Store or Google Play account settings before you delete your account, or you will keep being charged.
